WOMEN PRIMAVERA BEGIN NEW CHAPTER WITH MARCO BRUZZANO IN CHARGE

The Women’s Primavera begin a new chapter with Marco Bruzzano in charge as the AC Milan Club appoints the 1993‑born coach to lead the Rossonere side into the upcoming season. Bruzzano arrives after a successful spell with Juventus Women’s Primavera, where he secured the 2024/25 league title, two Coppa Italia trophies and two Viareggio Women’s Cups.

Before his two‑year spell with the Bianconere, Bruzzano was head coach of Como Women in Serie A Women, a club where he had previously worked as assistant to Sebastián De La Fuente. His time at Como gave him valuable experience in Italy’s top women’s division.

In the 2023/24 season, after being appointed head coach of the First Team, Bruzzano became the youngest manager in Italy’s professional leagues. The milestone highlighted his rapid rise through the coaching ranks.

Bruzzano also brings experience from Inter’s Youth Sector, where he contributed to the development of emerging talents. This background complements his proven record at the youth level.

Coach Bruzzano’s first comments were: "It’s an honour for me to be part of a Club like AC Milan. I want to thank the Club for putting their trust in me; I’m excited to begin this new journey. I’ll bring my passion and commitment to the role, giving my all to help the players develop and contribute to this crucial project’s growth."

The appointment is a significant addition for the Rossonere, who head into the new season after winning their second Primavera Scudetto in three years in May. That triumph underscored the strength of the Youth Sector.

The team’s importance within the AC Milan family was highlighted when a delegation from the Rossonere attended Coach Amorim’s first training session on Monday, 13 July. The visit reinforced the link between the senior and youth setups.

Recent youth successes include the U15 side’s title, and the academy continues to provide a pathway to the First Team, with Bonanomi, Lupatini, Taddei and Vitale all recently making the step into professional football. The hope is that many more players from Bruzzano’s squad can follow in their footsteps.
