Newtonmore stretch Premiership lead as Kingussie falter on Skye

Newtonmore secured a 2-1 win on Skye, extending their Mowi Premiership lead to five points and putting Kingussie, a game behind, under pressure. The victory came in the second half of the match and marked a crucial step in the title race.

Iain Robinson broke Skye's resistance early in the second half and added a second goal ten minutes later. Jordan Murchison responded for the hosts, pulling one back before the final whistle.
