Ronaldinho Gaúcho invests in Ravenna, club returns to Serie C

Former Brazil star Ronaldinho Gaúcho, 46, is returning to football as an investor in Ravenna, the Serie C club that will compete in Italy's third tier next season, after confirming his involvement in a celebratory match and possible kit launch.

Ravenna, based in Northern Italy, will return to compete in Serie C for the upcoming season. The club's promotion marks its re‑entry into the third tier of Italian football.

Ronaldinho is expected to feature in a celebratory match organized as part of the club's marketing drive. He may also appear at the launch of Ravenna's new kits.

The investment reunites Ronaldinho, known as R10, with Ariedo Braida, Ravenna's honorary vice president. Braida signed the Brazilian forward for Milan in 2008.

Ronaldinho's previous spell at the Rossoneri lasted from July 2018 to January 2011, during which he logged 95 appearances. He contributed 26 goals and 27 assists in that period.
