Europe watches Lille’s Ichem Ferrah after Cambuur breakthrough

🇫🇷 By 4All Football Editorial ·

Lille’s 20‑year‑old winger Ichem Ferrah has sparked interest across Europe after a prolific loan at SC Cambuur, where the Franco‑Algerian helped the Yellow‑Blues secure promotion to the Eredivisie with 12 goals and six assists in 35 appearances. There’s an old saying that you should never fall in love with a player on loan.

Ferrah joined the Dutch side on loan from Lille OSC for the 2025‑26 season, playing a pivotal role in the club’s ascent from the second tier. His contributions were recognised when he was named ‘Talent of the Season’ by the league.

The 20‑year‑old made 35 appearances in the second‑tier league, scoring 12 goals and providing six assists, a record that underlined his impact on the pitch. Such statistics earned him the title of ‘Talent of the Season’.

Lille, whose nickname is Les Dogues, are reportedly open to selling Ferrah, whose contract runs until 2027. Foot Mercato several offers have already been tabled for the Tourcoing‑born forward.

Among the clubs showing the most interest are Italian sides Cremonese and Pisa, as well as Dutch outfit FC Utrecht. Spanish and English teams are also monitoring his situation, according to the same source.

A move away would see Lille part ways with a player who has proven his worth in the Dutch league, while Ferrah could join a club eager to build on his Eredivisie breakthrough. Both parties stand to benefit from a transfer that aligns with the forward’s rising profile.
