Juventus eyes Alisson after Slot exits Liverpool

Liverpool head coach Arne Slot has left his position.

Liverpool’s Dutch manager Arne Slot has departed after a single season in charge. The club confirmed his exit on May 19.

Juventus has identified Roberto Firmino’s former Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker as a priority transfer target. Liverpool’s 2019-20 Premier League-winning goalkeeper Alisson is out of contract in 2025.

The Serie A club is accelerating talks with Alisson’s representatives. Alisson’s agent has held multiple meetings with Juventus sporting director Federico Cherubini this week.

Juventus aims to finalize a deal before the summer transfer window. The club seeks a long-term replacement for Wojciech Szczesny, who remains the first-choice goalkeeper.
