Silvio Baldini Names New Italy Squad Including Two Dortmund Players

Silvio Baldini, interim coach of the Italy national team, announced a practically new squad for the upcoming friendlies. The selections were made ahead of matches against Luxembourg and Greece.

Samuele Inacio earned a place in the squad. Inacio is a forward currently registered with Borussia Dortmund.

Filippo Mane also received a call-up. Mane is a midfielder playing for Borussia Dortmund.

Both Inacio and Mane are under contract with Borussia Dortmund. Their inclusion adds two Bundesliga players to the Italy roster.

Italy will test the new squad against Luxembourg and Greece in the upcoming friendlies. The matches will give Baldini an opportunity to evaluate the refreshed roster.
