Juventus targets Real Madrid's Garcia in loan-plus-option deal
Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga has agreed a loan move to Juventus with a future option to buy. The deal includes a €15m loan fee and a €45m permanent purchase clause.
Camavinga will join Juventus on July 1 for a season-long loan. The agreement contains a mandatory buy clause triggering if certain performance targets are met.
Juventus sporting director Giovanni Manno has led negotiations with Real Madrid sporting director Eduardo Freese. Both clubs finalized terms during a two-week process.
Camavinga’s arrival addresses Juventus’ midfield depth needs after summer departures. The French international adds Champions League experience and international pedigree.
Real Madrid retain a sell-on percentage in the deal structure. The clause entitles Real to 20% of any future transfer fee exceeding €50m.
Camavinga will link up with Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri ahead of the pre-season campaign. His integration will be monitored closely following a disrupted 2023-24 season.
