Caitlin Dijkstra joins Tottenham Hotspur on free transfer
Caitlin Dijkstra has completed a free transfer from VfL Wolfsburg to Tottenham Hotspur.
The 27-year-old, who has earned 35 caps for the Netherlands women’s national team, joins Spurs ahead of the upcoming season.
At Tottenham Hotspur, Dijkstra reunites with international teammate Lize Kop.

Both Dijkstra and Kop have been selected by Netherlands head coach Arjan Veurink for the decisive FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers against Ireland and Poland. Lineth Beerensteyn, also departing Wolfsburg on a free transfer, is reportedly set to join Real Madrid. Dijkstra’s career includes spells at Ajax and FC Twente in the Netherlands. Wolfsburg signed her in summer 2023 but loaned her back to FC Twente for an additional season. In her two years at Wolfsburg, Dijkstra made 46 appearances, scoring twice.
