Ajax sign Enes Işik on four-year deal until 2029

Ajax have signed 16-year-old Enes Işik on a contract running until June 2029. The left-footed defender joins from Ajax Onder 17.

Işik featured regularly for Ajax Onder 17 last season. He was part of the team that won the U17 league title in the 2023/24 campaign.

The Turkish youth international has represented Turkey at U16 and U17 level. He made four appearances for the U17 team in 2024.

Ajax technical director Sven Mislintat confirmed the club’s commitment to developing young talent. Mislintat stated the club targets players with high potential who can progress through the academy.

Işik becomes the seventh signing for Ajax this summer. The club’s recruitment focuses on integrating academy products into the first team.

The defender will train with the Ajax first team squad during pre-season. His development will be monitored closely under head coach John Heitinga.
