Curtis Jones Near Inter Milan Transfer for €25m
Curtis Jones is close to completing a transfer from Liverpool to Inter Milan. The 25‑year‑old England international is under contract with Liverpool until 2027. Inter Milan are reported to be willing to meet a valuation of around €25 million.
Liverpool’s midfield overhaul follows the dismissal of Arne Slot as head coach. Richard Hughes is reportedly seeking midfield reinforcements, with Lamine Camara and Adam Wharton linked as potential arrivals. Ryan Gravenberch and Alexis Mac Allister were among the midfielders whose performances were described as poor last season.
Inter Milan prefer Jones to Roma’s French midfielder Manu Kone, viewing him as a more economical option. Chivu described Jones as a good Premier League player with pace and versatility who would add a different dimension to the squad. Initial talks saw Ausilio propose €20 million while Liverpool asked for €30‑35 million, leaving a valuation gap that could be narrowed to about €25 million with a resale‑price clause.
Pending negotiations, the deal could be finalised soon if the resale clause is agreed. Jones has not forgotten Inter, and Inter has not forgotten him, according to the report.
