Club Brugge eyes Andrej Vasovic As Jashari successor

🇨🇭

Club de Bruges is reportedly targeting Andrej Vasovic, the 18‑year‑old Swiss striker of FC Lucerne, after his 22 league appearances and six goals this season, Suisse reports. The Belgian champions aim to add the tall forward to their squad.

Club de Bruges previously secured Ardon Jashari from FC Lucerne in 2024 for a fee of six million euros. Jashari later won the Golden Shoe at Bruges and was sold to AC Milan for thirty‑six million euros.

The club also wishes to retain Nicolò Tresoldi in its squad for the coming season. Keeping Tresoldi would reduce the need for an immediate replacement in attack.

Gustaf Nilsson is reported as a possible departure to Bundesliga 2. His exit could further thin the offensive options for Club de Bruges.

Andrej Vasovic stands 1.87 m tall and is of Serbian descent. He is under contract with FC Lucerne until 2030 and is valued at approximately 1.5 million euros by Transfermarkt.

Vasovic appears on an internal shortlist compiled by Club de Bruges’ recruitment department. So far, no formal offer has been sent to FC Lucerne.

Described as a tall, mobile and effective forward with high potential, Vasovic fits the profile of players Club de Bruges has targeted in recent years. The Belgian side’s nickname, Blauw en Zwart, reflects its ongoing interest in Swiss talent.
