PSV's defender exodus: one to Lens, France; one to Corum FK, Türkiye
PSV have confirmed that two long‑serving defenders will leave in the coming weeks, with Armando Obispo heading to Ligue 1 side Lens and Adamo Nagalo bound for newly promoted Turkish club Corum FK, according to VI. The moves follow Obispo's final‑year contract and a reported €5.5 million fee, while Nagalo returns to Turkey after a loan spell.
Armando Obispo has been with PSV for two decades, spending the bulk of his career at the Dutch club apart from a loan spell at Vitesse during the 2019/2020 season. His long association makes him one of the most experienced defenders to depart this summer.
Lens initially pursued Obispo for €4 million, but PSV secured a fee of around €5.5 million before finalising the transfer. The agreement reflects the defender’s value after many years at the Eindhoven side.
During his PSV tenure, Obispo amassed 130 first‑team appearances and contributed seven goals from defence. Those figures underline his regular involvement in the squad over the years.
Weghorst vows to skip World Cup final after Dutch exit
Internationally, Obispo was part of the Curaçao squad at the 2026 World Cup, playing the full 90 minutes in each of the three matches the nation contested in their debut tournament. His experience on the world stage adds a notable chapter to his career. Adamo Nagalo, a Burkina Faso international, spent the back end of last season on loan at Konyaspor in Turkey before his impending move. The loan spell gave him exposure to Turkish football ahead of the expected transfer. Nagalo developed at Danish side Nordsjaelland, where he featured in 114 games between 2021 and 2024. His progression through the Danish system paved the way for his summer arrival at PSV.Premier League lure vs PSV exit: Dutch talent heads to Scotland
Since joining PSV, Nagalo has made just 12 first‑team appearances, indicating limited playing time before the club arranged his departure to Corum FK. VI reports that both deals are set to be completed in the coming weeks, confirming PSV’s intention to sell the two defenders to clubs in France and Türkiye respectively.
