Gasperini eyes double wing boost as Roma chase Garnacho, Summerville
Coach Gian Piero Gasperini announced today that AS Roma are close to securing a double signing of wingers Alejandro Garnacho and Jack Summerville, adding to a frontline already featuring Soulè and Dybala as the club seeks to strengthen its attack.
The proposed signings are intended to boost the attack as the Giallorossi seek to raise the squad’s level. It is no secret that the club needs to strengthen its offensive options, and Gasperini has asked for wingers capable of raising the level.
“Right now we have Soulè and Dybala, I expect two players up front,” Gasperini said at a press conference regarding the wingers at his disposal. The statement underscored the manager’s intent to add further firepower.
Alfredo Pedulla reported that Roma has not given up on Garnacho, and the Argentine’s candidacy remains high as the Giallorossi are very interested. This confirms that Garnacho is still a priority in the club’s recruitment plans.
Gasperini expects a Garnacho-Summerville double signing, noting that Summerville’s possible arrival would not exclude Garnacho. The coach believes securing both wingers would significantly enhance the team’s attacking depth.
The final decision on the double acquisition remains pending, leaving fans awaiting confirmation of the deals. Roma’s pursuit continues as the club works to complete the reinforcement of its forward line.
