Budapest prepares biggest police operation for Arsenal vs PSG final

31 May 2026

Budapest is preparing the biggest police operation in the city’s history for the Champions League final between Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain. Each club has been allocated 17,000 tickets.

Police estimate that around 10,000 additional fans will arrive in the capital without tickets. Combined with the official allocations, the expected crowd could approach 44,000.

The operation will be the largest ever undertaken by Hungarian police. It is being organized to manage the influx of supporters for the final.

Authorities will deploy resources to control crowds throughout the event. Police will maintain order in Budapest for the duration of the match.
