€2m deal: Venezia land Lisman in Serie A transfer coup

Venezia have completed the signing of 20-year-old Korel Lisman from Lech Poznan for a fee reported at €2 million.

The Polish wide attacker passed his medical and signed a contract running until June 2030, with an additional one-year option in favour of the club. Lisman arrives as a product of Lech Poznan’s youth academy and was promoted to the senior squad in 2024.

During the 2024–25 season, he made 22 appearances for Lech Poznan, scoring once and providing two assists. His versatility allows him to feature on either flank in a three-man attacking line.

Lisman cited the club’s long-term interest and the trust shown by sporting director Antonelli as key reasons for his move. “I decided to join Venezia because from one year they were following me and it was very impressive,” he told the club website. “I feel the big trust on me from the Director Antonelli who showed me a lot about the club and plans.”

He added: “For me it’s a big chance and pleasure to come here, because Venezia is a very big club with amazing fans and crazy atmosphere in the stadium. Also I saw the big support from the fans even when the team were losing and this impressed me a lot.”

The winger pledged his commitment to the club’s project, telling supporters: “I give my best on the pitch and I will fight for the team till the end.”

At international level, Lisman has represented Poland at Under-18 and Under-20 level. His move coincides with Venezia’s return to Serie A after winning Serie B and securing automatic promotion.

The club has also strengthened its squad with free-agent Toma Basic from Lazio and right-sided winger Mattia Compagnon from Juventus Next Gen.

Venezia’s summer activity reflects their ambition to rebuild competitively in Italy’s top flight.
