17 May 2026

Gamba Osaka's lone goal proved decisive, securing the victory without reply. The result ended Al-Nassr's campaign in the competition.

The defeat adds to recent disappointment for Cristiano Ronaldo and Al-Nassr, who have been seeking continental silverware. Ronaldo had joined the club with expectations of delivering major trophies.

The final took place in Riyadh, offering Al-Nassr the advantage of playing on home soil. Despite the familiar setting, the visitors managed to keep a clean sheet.
