Saibari joins Bayern for €55m, enters Eredivisie top 5 exits

Ismael Saibari completes a €55 million move to Bayern München from PSV Eindhoven. The transfer places him among the top five most expensive outgoing deals in Eredivisie history.

Saibari’s departure follows four Ajax players who previously ranked in the top five. The Eredivisie’s transfer fee ceiling for outgoing deals now includes Saibari’s valuation.

PSV Eindhoven receives €55 million for Saibari, marking their highest-ever outgoing transfer fee. The club retains no sell-on clause in the deal.

Bayern München signs Saibari on a five-year contract. The winger becomes Thomas Tuchel’s sixth summer signing for the Bundesliga club.

Saibari, 22, scored 11 goals and provided 14 assists in 68 Eredivisie appearances for PSV. His final season included 10 goals and 12 assists across all competitions.

The transfer concludes PSV’s summer business after selling Xavi Simons and Joël Frimpong earlier in the window. PSV now focus on rebuilding with remaining squad players and academy talents.

Bayern München completes the signing ahead of their Champions League campaign. The club’s transfer budget remains intact for late additions if needed.
