Hoffenheim set to recall loan player Bambasé Conté

🇩🇪 19 May 2026

TSG Hoffenheim plans to bring back loan player Bambasé Conté from SV Elversberg. The move continues the clubs' recent personnel exchange. Conté is expected to rejoin Hoffenheim in the Kraichgau region.

Conté has been on loan at SV Elversberg since the start of the current season. His loan spell will end and he will return to his parent club.

The exchange of players between the two clubs has become a regular feature. Both sides have benefited from short‑term deals that allow young talent to gain experience.

Earlier this year, Fisnik Asllani and Muhammed Damar also moved on loan between the clubs. Their temporary transfers were part of the same cooperative arrangement.

SV Elversberg recently secured promotion to the Bundesliga, becoming the league's newest entrant. Their rise has provided a platform for loaned players to compete at a higher level.

Hoffenheim will have Conté back as they prepare for the upcoming campaign. The club expects his return to add depth to the squad.
