PSG to parade Champions League trophy on Champ de Mars

🇫🇷

Paris Saint-Germain will parade their Champions League trophy on the Champ de Mars on Sunday if they lift the trophy in Paris on Saturday. Luis Enrique’s side secured a 2-1 aggregate win over Real Madrid in the final before celebrations were confirmed.

The trophy parade follows last season’s tradition when PSG celebrated their first Champions League title in the same location. The event remains contingent on an incident-free Saturday evening in the capital.

PSG defeated Real Madrid in the Champions League final held in Paris. Kylian Mbappé scored both goals in the second leg to secure the 2-1 aggregate victory.

Supporters are expected to gather on the Champ de Mars for the public celebration. The exact timing of the event will be announced after the final whistle in the Stade de France.

Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo confirmed the city’s support for the parade. The Champs de Mars was chosen for its central location and accessibility to fans.

The Champions League final was played at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis. Real Madrid’s Vinícius Júnior was stretchered off in the first half with a hamstring injury.
